Position Overview:
We seek a seasoned Civil Engineer: Project Manager with a solid track record in managing municipal public works projects. This role is ideal for someone adept at steering projects from conception through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead civil engineering projects, focusing on site development, infrastructure design, and construction management.
- Manage a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective collaboration and communication, driving project milestones to completion.
- Create and oversee detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, tailored to meet client specifications and goals.
- Facilitate ongoing communication with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Organize regular project status meetings, providing updates and addressing any issues to mitigate risks and keep projects on track.
Job Requirements for the Civil Engineer: Project Manager Role:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in Pennsylvania is preferred, but not required.
- Demonstrated experience in managing municipal projects.
- Proven capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
