Municipal Engineering is the beating heart of our work at C.S. Davidson. Since 1923, we have been perfecting our craft, helping local municipalities and authorities preserve, manage, and construct a better world.

We understand the complexities facing local governments, and we provide a wide range of services to meet those needs.

General Consultation and Expertise: We serve as Engineer-of-Record for over 50 municipalities and authorities. Collectively, our engineers attend dozens of public meetings per month, providing an unrivaled depth of experience needed in public settings.

Plan Reviews: We complete hundreds of Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance (SALDO), Stormwater, Traffic, and Zoning reviews annually. We work with each municipality’s unique procedures, providing detailed plan reviews promptly and efficiently.

Planning: We help local governments with decision-making and transparency through our Planning services. Our Planners prepare comprehensive plans, capital improvement programs, zoning ordinances, and official maps. We specialize in data gathering and collection, public meeting facilitation, community outreach and input, data analysis, and GIS mapping.

Grants: Municipalities rely on grant funding to complete projects, and we help our clients capture and communicate the compelling stories that get projects funded. Our staff is skilled and experienced in identifying funding and financing solutions. Our team creates clear, concise, and persuasive applications that communicate project feasibility, community stakeholders, and project readiness.
