The structural team at C.S. Davidson, Inc. specializes in designing steel-framed, concrete, and wood-framed projects ranging from industrial platforms in various food and production facilities to complex multi-story buildings. Essential Functions:
· Assist the project manager with overall project responsibilities.
· Visualize and conceptualize in both 3-D and 2-D.
· Accurately create and alter models and construction drawing sets.
· Prepare final models and drawings under the design team’s direction, from rough sketches, mark-ups, or verbal communication.
· Set up BIM models and ensure compliance with client BIM standards and expectations.
· Collaborate with internal and external design disciplines to monitor design-related changes and coordinate model distribution.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
· Associate degree in Building Information Modeling, Computer-Aided Drafting, or a related field.
· 1+ years of Revit experience in structural engineering or a related field is preferred but not required.
· Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
· Highly organized with attention to detail.
· Excellent communication skills; listening, comprehension, and feedback.
Desirable Skills:
· Bluebeam Revu experience.
